Asmus Koefoed is a Danish photographer, musician, and science writer based in Frederiksberg, Denmark. His diverse portfolio includes photography, music composition, and contributions to scientific literature. Koefoed contributed to Martian geological research through co-authorship of the 2013 study titled "Characteristics of pebble- and cobble-sized clasts along the Curiosity rover traverse from Bradbury Landing to Rocknest." This research, published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Planets, analyzed rock fragments encountered by NASA's Curiosity rover to understand Mars' sedimentary history and surface processes.
