I think that it works well together.a raggae-ish type of sound with some dirty drums(on purpose of course). I topped it off with a somewhat useful brass section. This one was started around 6 months ago. Loved the drums and guitar-effected Fender Rhodes and only recently added the brass and bass. I hope it has the right amount of intstrumental balance. However, my mind was going to explode if I had to think any harder on this one. So I am now releasing it. Enjoy.A rendezvous between Jazz, Electro, and Hip Hop. All 3 of them are brainstorming on this track. An atmospheric ballad featuring the great vocals of Kaer Trouz.A smooth and ambient play on How Will I Ever?.An electro/rock take on "Mourning Dew" by Kaer Trouz. So, this was the final result.First submission after nearly a 2 year hiatus.A not so great sounding recording of me messin' around on a Yamaha baby grand. It was composed on the fly with minimal structure. All recorded in one day, these piano pieces were composed on the fly and not mic'd properly. This is in a retro electro style.Just a midi interpretation I did of Messiaen a while back.I had so many great, and I mean really great sources to work from. I came to realize that Stefan is a genius. The dozens of pieces I listened to for sources were just top notch and he pumps them out like crazy. Forgot about it and decided to go ahead and post it after I saw another recent remix. Lost things are not so lost.Luckily, I was paired up with Jeris. There was a treasure trove of samples to use and his tracks sound top notch. I used an old jazz recording I got from a friend who recorded with his band in high school. He is much older so the recordings were recorded onto records and include original scratches and pops. The rest is ccMixter samples and some original synths. Created this track in Cakewalk and did most of the mixing during the day. Nighttime is truly the best time for me to mix because everything seems so quiet but I mix whenever I can. This was a second mix I was doing which I almost submitted for the Magic Hours secret mix. First, all her material is pro quality. Second, almost all her vocal tracks have been remixed at least 10 times, but I found one that had less and chose that. Secret Sauce The vocals for Unbury Your Heart had sort of a Bjork style and was originally going to go down that road. However, Snowflake's vocals are so powerful that I decided to go with an 808 style beat since that is very powerful too. I toned down the entire song with mellow strings but tried to keep some funk and dance parts too by including an arpeggiated synth. I sprinkled a little synth on the vocals and put some reverb too to make it a bit haunting. For the bass, I started out with long notes then switched to short funky notes to change it up a bit. Enjoy!People have been requesting samples from my classic tracks so had to locate this one called "Them Say".This is another request I received to create an instrumental version which took quite a long time since the original files are missing!I was chosen to remix Ben and really enjoyed listening to the experimental nature of Ben's remixes.
