I love how suspenseful this story is! Interesting symbolism we can all relate to, and a twist David Lynch would appreciate :)

We are each telling a story

Before?
Little girl sees a fairy
She sitting at the dining room table
I am trying to talk to her or want to talk to her
She turns away from me and holds this rectangular-ish thing up on the table
The fairy appears as a slyph - tiny form of grayish moving energy

I am disappointed because I wanted to talk to her but she wants to see or commune with the fairy. When I see the fairy, we’re all looking at her. I do understand when I see her (the fairy)

in the dream I become lucid
I’ve been searching all this time and this is the dream I’ve been waiting for
When the interviewer asks me for my story, I have a hard time putting it into words
