Shapeshifters

In the dream, my toes were crooked and long stretching off of huge feet, like a hobbit’s. I curled my long toes down into soft soil and could drink water directly from the earth. I was on a walking trail, guided by Andrew Harvey, who, while we were walking, turned around to look at me and suddenly transformed into a woman about my age, she was very beautiful. She had a wide face, brown hair, bright red lips, and her face was pockmarked though that took nothing away from her beauty. He said he thought I might better understand his meaning this way, and I noticed how my perspective and receptivity shifted when receiving words from her. She said all forms are Shapeshifters. “It’s your gateway, but don’t be attached to this.” She pointed to her own body. Then we were transported from the nature trail to the parking level of a large commercial building. I felt thirsty but my feet could not turn into the soil. Andrew went from a nature guide to a parking attendant behind a desk with a glass partition. At first, I went to his assistant’s open desk who would normally be the gatekeeper to Andrew, but he wasn’t at his chair. So I knocked on the window protecting Andrew’s desk, with the feeling he would not be there nor have time to answer but he opened it. In his Uniform, the light was still glowing in his eyes. He said I’d find a new way to drink in that environment. He spoke, “All realities are dimensions of the one, even those that seem dark and lifeless are full of energy. It is a grand experiment.” Suddenly, I was on top of the building my arms outstretched in the wind. Instead of curling my feet into the soil, I stretched my hands up into the clouds and found life-giving water. I felt like I understood. I was crying. Then I woke up.
