Ever heard of an udu drum (a.k.a. ibo)? If you're curious, look it up. It's a Nigerian drum with a fascinating history. It looks like a clay pot with a hole on the side. When I first heard it, I was mesmerized by the sound. It's so bouncy! And so... here this non-drummer plays it. Of course, what I'm sharing is highly edited so it's actually, hopefully usable.
I also included some simple beats from a portable cajon.
absolutely beautiful udu Kara!!! it was especially meaningful that I saw you playing it live yesterday!!!

Thank you so much! It's a really fun drum to play. You can get so many different tones. Kara Square2025-04-11 04:34:50
Great sample pack, Kara, and such high-quality. I think these will work with spinningmerkaba's shakers--I'm working on a blend right now :)
