Coruscate's Field Recordings: Sample Pack 1 These don't have music in them, so they are Mixter.plus safe. There's several here from a mall. One from a gas station Roadway traffic And two from a large, locally owned grocery store that's fancy schmancy and makes good pizza.
They are very, very raw. I do have some good tools, but if you're looking to isolate sounds from these it's probably best for you to do it. But I did make extra attempts to make sure to capture certain sounds even if it broke the "spell" of the field recording for a moment. So there's checkout beeps, grocery cart rattles and other miscellanea. As for the mall playground recording, I stayed at least about 20 feet back from the playground to catch the high pitched noise and ambience without infringing anyone's privacy.
Very...Utilitarian? Might be fun to chop up and make some beats.

Yup, since everything has to be original the only way for us to have field recordings in mixes is if someone contributes them. I've recently just bought a tascam portable recorder for the first time and I'm having a blast with it honestly.
