Whatever you did, you got it right. Using Reaper DAW on a very old Mac…but also my own natural rubato, maybe… organic, as well as asymmetrical.

OK, Stefan, thanks for prompting me to fix my DAW. I found a setting I never intended to tamper with...project playback rate...which was set to 88%. Since I'm not using MIDI for timing, it never really showed up as an issue for me before. 90 x .88 = 79.2 and I usually ignore the double-four (why you and I are often off by two: 158.4 is pretty close to your 156 ;-))...well, anyway, thanks. Future uploads should be better!
