MixterPlus Behind the Scenes

The mixter.plus migration has allowed us to make several long-overdue changes to the infrastructure and codebase that our artists rely on.

As always, help is welcome. Use the Admin Contact Form to let us know if you have skills and/or time to invest.

Highlights:

• Secure connection (https://) for peace of mind
• A third-party lib for displaying waveforms was removed, and a from-scratch, faster one was put in its place.
• A new custom interface coding framework called MVIC ;)
• The above stuff might make the whole thing noticeably faster/more responsive.
• Data modeling and API work toward the upcoming "mixterverse" launch ... watch this space!
