WILD BUCK

I dream I am looking out my first floor window and see 4 fuzzy young fawns trotting in line. I realize I have attracted a family of deer to my bird feeder which I left outside after dusk. I try to shoo away the deer with my hands while shouting from my window. The young deer all run away, including a newborn I see who was sitting under the feeder. I think I see a momma deer too with the family.

I go out my front door to retrieve the feeder for the night, and then I notice a stag with huge antlers over by the woods just 10 feet away. Uh oh, I think, that's the daddy, and he will most likely want to protect his family. I race inside hoping he doesn't charge, but as soon as I close and lock the door, I look through the keyhole and see him charging.
I assume he will hit the door so I brace myself and the door by pressing my feet against it while the wall behind me supports my shoulders, so now I am horizontal stretched between the door and my opposite wall.

I feel the initial BANG of all his energy against my front door. I won't be able to hold him back. His strength bends the door like a curved bubble. How long can I hold this? I look around the room wondering how to solve this problem, if I let go, the door will break and I will have to run. I plan to escape towards the bathroom down the hall, so I drop my legs and run to the bathroom locking myself inside. The stag barges in and races after me. I wish I had my phone to call 911. How will I get out of this?!

My bathroom door in my apartment actually has 2 entrances, so I open the door which goes into my bedroom and then I run down the hall while the stag enters the bathroom. I know I only have seconds to find my phone in the living room. I lift one black wool shawl after another from the coffee table and floor but I can't find my phone. Why do I have all these black wool shawls?

I decide to run out of my apartment and I close the front door to keep the stag inside as I run for help. I realize he is going to destroy all my nice things in my apt trying to escape. I run looking for any lights on neighbor's houses but all are dark. Finally I see a house with lights and run up to door and ring their bell. I realize I'm suddenly holding a chicken leg, when did I begin eating that? No idea. A couple emerges from their door and both are only wearing tank tops and tighty whitey underwear. I yell CALL 911. The woman calls the police and I say I will offer my address. I explain a stag chased me and ran into my apt. I wake up full of fear. ...More
