You Left (Without Saying Goodbye)

This is a song idea that never got completed. I can't remember the inspiration, but it's from a time when I was writing almost every day. I'm uploading it here in the hope it can be of use somehow. I'm OK with edits & changes etc:

YOU LEFT (WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE)

What got inside your head?
Maybe something I said? Coz you left, yes you left
Without saying goodbye

So you think me unkind?
If I could read your mind
Then I would know why you left
Without saying goodbye

Communications down
Guess you're heading back to town
And you left, yes you left
Without saying goodbye

Maybe we'll meet up again?
Hope we are speaking by then
Since you left, yes you left
Without saying goodbye
