they say the truth hurts and i am feeling the pain deep in my stomach and heart listening to your truth. your musicality is the perfect soundtrack for these lyrics. poignantly stated and importantly brought to the surface. Speck's rebuttal is also resonant. it is a difficult and terrible time. thank you for creating this powerful, cathartic art.

Yeah, it's good to see some pushback in the streets but that hasn't had any meaning since Vietnam. Just part of doing business now. Nothing short of a violent revolution will have any effect against the oligarchy and we're way too lazy (and financially outmatched) to do that.

Which is kind of what my 'rebuttal' turned out to be about:

Well, see now, it's really just a matter of perspective. I imagine there are quite a few billionaires and millions of working class morons who are very happy about the changed things.
