This is a big dream I had not too long ago that I continue to learn from and is influencing my life in beautiful ways.
AROUND THE BEND
I’m walking a long a dry riverbed
The sky is crystal clear, blue not a cloud
There are embankments to either side
although quite frankly I have no sense of what is to the left of me whatsoever
Just spaciousness and light (spaciousness and light)
In the distance, there’s a bend
I have no idea what’s around the bend
(baby, baby, we don't know)
Along the edge of the embankment to my right,
In the distance, right where there’s the bend
There’s a tree line
The embankment to my right ascends steeply and is
Covered with these white pebbles
It dawns on me that at any moment the river can come rushing around that bend and flood the channel that I’m walking along
I think I’ve better get out of there fast
So I start scrambling up the embankment
Stumbling on the pebbles
Thinking I”ve got to make my way to that tree line because that’s
where I’m going to be safe
I’ve been walking along the rivered, exposed
With spaciousness and light (spaciousness and light)
And around the bend I can’t see what’s coming but a flood is bound to arrive
(baby, baby, we don’t know)
So I scramble
up
I scramble up
I scramble toward the tree line
Toward life
This tree line is magnificent!
All kinds of trees!
I can see the rich woodiness of their trunks and the different shapes of their leaves and the canopy they make
(to life)
And I scramble
upn(spaciousness and light)
Because around the bend, I can’t see what’s coming (we don't know)
But there’s bound to be a flood
And on the other side, light and spaciousness

I love that guitar tone, I just have to say - compressed, clean, bluesy, with the treble rolled off a bit.
